Exosomes Are…

Micro-vesicles that are involved in cell communication. This is the new frontier in regenerative medicine. These exosomes have been recently discovered to be involved in direct cell signaling. The unique benefit to exosomes is that they are stem cell-derived and bring a wide array of growth factors to stimulate and modulate may processes within the healing cascade.

Where Do Exosomes Come From?

The exosomes that Dr. Rogers Centers uses are isolated from donated bone marrow derived human mesenchymal stem cells. The bone marrow derived MSCs are a highly characterized cell source. The peer -reviewed published studies clearly indicate the BMMSCs have a much higher safety profile and yield higher quality extracellular vesicles than perinatal derived MSCs.

How Do Exosomes Work?

Simply, the exosomes block the inflammatory process and recruit cells for natural healing.

The details:

Exosomes are not cells but are micro-vesicles that are about 1/1000th the size of a cell. They can be regarded as the purest form of cellular therapy available because their function is to direct tissue and wound healing by activating your own regenerative cell response.

As technology and discovery of new methods of treating patients have evolved, the science shows that the optimal way to provide true “stem cell therapy” is to directly provide the signals as its own therapy.

The 1000+ regulatory proteins found to naturally occur in healthy tissue and in Exoflow used by Dr. Rogers Centers have shown to help modulate the inflammatory healing process. This is accomplished by activating and recruiting local cells to revascularize the area and reduce the inflammatory response to allow natural healing.

How are Exosomes Applied?

Exosomes are being used for joint, hair, wound and skin rejuvenation. The exosomes are drawn up into a syringe and then injected and/or microneedled into the target treatment area.

How Many Treatments Will it Require?

On average, patients will see the effects of potential relief within 4 weeks of the initial treatment. Many patients with pain, inflammation, degenerative diseases, or strains experience improvement after a single treatment.

As every patient is different, it is important to discuss the treatment plan to meet your needs and expectations.

What Should I Expect?

Dr. Rogers Centers will advise the specific protocols and procedures in preparation for your exosome treatment. Most patients resume to normal daily function post-procedure. For joint injections a recommended rehabilitation protocol will be prescribed.

For facial and hair therapy Dr. Rogers Centers provides a post-treatment regiment for maximum results.
