AMNIOTIC LIQUID ALLOGRAFT

What is Human Amniotic Fluid?

Amniotic fluid is abundant in growth factors and cytokines associated with repair, replacement, and regeneration of soft tissue. When injected into the body, these growth factors and cytokines have been shown to promote healing and pain management.

How is the Amniotic Fluid Processed?

Healthy pregnant women are screened to insure they have no infections or diseases. At the time of delivery the women voluntarily donate their placentas. The processing company takes the placenta and scrapes the inner lining to collect the cells. The growth factors and repair proteins are then extracted from the cells, purified and concentrated. Then the mixture is exposed to gamma radiation to sterilize it to insure once again that there is no risk of infection.

Chances of Immune Reaction?

Amniotic fluid does not contain any cells. It contains the concentrated growth factors and healing proteins from collected cells. This means there is virtually no chance of immune reaction.

Advantages of Amniotic Allograft

The advantage of the Amniotic Allograft is the ease of use. We do not need to draw your blood, obtain bone marrow or perform liposuction. We draw the amniotic allograft fluid into a syringe and inject it in the desired location under ultrasound guidance.
