Advanced Biomarker and Wellness Testing

Nutrient Testing (Micronutrient Status Assessment)

Dr. Rogers Centers believes the most expensive supplements are the ones your body doesn’t need. Therefore, nutrient testing can help guide Dr. Rogers Centers providers for both IV and oral replacement needs.

Key benefits of nutrient testing include:

● Identifying subclinical deficiencies before they manifest as overt disease (e.g., iron deficiency before anemia develops, vitamin B12 depletion before neurological symptoms)
● Guiding individualized nutrition interventions — accurate interpretation by a skilled nutritional specialist results in more effective and targeted dietary or supplementation strategies
● Monitoring adequacy of nutrition support in patients on specialized diets, parenteral nutrition, or with chronic disease

Food Sensitivity IgG Testing

Dr. Rogers Centers recommends IgG food allergy testing to help map out a temporary, personalized elimination diet. After removing identified trigger foods for several weeks to months, the goal is to gradually reintroduce them one at a time while monitoring how the body responds.

Because IgG antibodies can sometimes reflect regular exposure and tolerance rather than true allergy, results are never used alone to diagnose a condition. Instead, they are interpreted alongside clinical symptoms, gut health, and the patient’s overall inflammatory picture.

Metabolic and Performance Testing

RMR and VO₂ Testing

Dr. Rogers Centers utilizes RMR and VO2 testing to provide valuable physiologic data to guide individualized wellness and performance plans.

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Testing

RMR testing via indirect calorimetry measures oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production at rest to determine baseline energy expenditure. Since resting metabolism accounts
for more than 50% of total daily energy expenditure, this testing allows for more accurate and personalized caloric recommendations compared to standard estimation equations.

VO₂ Max Testing

VO₂ max testing is considered the gold standard measure of cardiorespiratory fitness and exercise capacity. It helps identify aerobic thresholds, optimize training zones, and monitor fitness improvements over time. Higher cardiorespiratory fitness is strongly associated with improved long-term cardiovascular and overall health outcomes.

Together, these tests provide a data-driven foundation for personalized nutrition and exercise programming.
