Post-Surgical Weight Loss
Dr. Rogers spoke at a conference for the American Society of Bariatric Physicians about the importance of post-operative bariatric nutrition. During the initial rapid weight loss phase, nutrients must be assessed at a minimum of every 3 to 6 months to prevent life long medical consequences.
Then after one year, we recommend weight checks every 3 months and metabolic lab work every 6 months.
Many post-surgical weight loss patients have a hard time meeting and/or sustaining their weight loss goals. Dr. Rogers’ bariatric team will perform a complete assessment and use every weight loss tool available for your weight loss maintenance success.
Dr. Rogers’ team welcomes any post-surgical patients.
We have experience with patients who have had:
* Mini-Gastric Bypass
* Gastric Bypass
* Gastric Sleeve
* Gastric Banding
* Duodenal Switch
