Is advanced testing right for me?
Your medical provider may recommend one or more advanced test to guide them on the best approach to your health. Below is a list of different types of tests we offer and who can benefit from them:
Nutrition can affect many aspects of your health, such as mood changes, fatigue, weight issues, reproductive issues, and more. This test will provide information on nutritional imbalances. When your results are in, you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit with your provider or a nutritionist, who will provide you with a personalized plan on nutrients and supplements to optimize your health.
Some of the nutrients and supplements analyzed in this test include:
- Amino acids
- Organic acids
- Fatty acids
- Nutrient and toxic elements, such as heavy metals
If you or your child routinely experience symptoms such as constipation, bloating, weight gain, or fatigue, or have been diagnosed with a condition such as Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Celiac disease, or Rheumatoid Arthritis, allergy testing can help pinpoint these problems. The foods you eat may not always be nourishing! Food sensitivities could be the root of all your mysterious health concerns.
Our immunology testing covers IgE foods (immediate effects such as swelling), IgG foods (2-3 day impact such as chronic inflammation), molds, inhalants, and celiac/gluten sensitivity. Depending on your results, you will be scheduled with a nutritionist or with our allergy lab for a treatment plan.
Other symptoms and/or conditions that can benefit from immunology testing include:
- Joint pain
- Chronic runny nose
- Chronic acne
Did you know? Next to the common cold, digestive problems are the most common reason people seek medical advice. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about; by not discussing your symptoms with your medical provider, you may be postponing diagnosis and treatment that can help you feel better! Our GI testing assesses three critical areas of the gut: digestive function, gut inflammation, and the gut microbiome.
Ask your medical provider for more information if you are suffering from a condition such as:
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Poor digestion
- GI infections
- Autoimmune disease
- Food allergies
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Hormones play a powerful role in the body’s regulatory system for both men and women. Proper hormonal balance is essential to maintain optimal health. Hormonal imbalances can lead to problems such as low libido, loss of muscle tone, osteoporosis, and heart disease. To complement our bioidentical hormone replacement therapy program, advanced testing may be requested by your doctor to gain more information to help you achieve balance.
Some of the advanced hormone testing we offer include:
- Thyroid function
- Adrenal function
- Melatonin production

While genetic testing can identify your risk for diseases such as heart disease and cancer, it does not always equal fate. Most genes are considered “flexible” and are influenced by your environment, diet, and other lifestyle factors that you can modify and change. To learn more, talk to your medical provider about the benefits of genetic testing. *This is an add-on to applicable tests, ask for more information!
